Childhood friends Tory Burch and Kara Ross have come together to launch a capsule fashion jewellery collaboration, Kara Ross for Tory Burch, for Fall/Winter 2010.
Both designers grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and have spent their careers in the fashion industry, Tory working for designers such as Carolina Herrera and Narcisco Rodriguez and now as the founder of her eponymous brand and Kara, as a gemmologist, fine jeweller and founder of her accessories brand. Both share a common interest in modern art and architecture, interesting usage of colour, clean, bold lines and statement jewellery.
The collection, incorporates the evil eye motif and the collection includes 14kt gold plated metal and resin cuff bracelets, rings, choker, pendant and bib necklaces featuring coloured enamels and real semi-precious gemstones and were designed specifically to compliment the tones and palette of Tory Burch’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection.
The line will be available in July at Tory Burch stores internationally and online at Net-a-Porter.com, KaraRossNY.com and ToryBurch.com. Retail prices will range from $195 – $695 US.
